Enable Quick Paste

Enable Quick Paste in PasteSup Settings, then click Grant Access. In System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, enable PasteSup. If it is missing, click + and select the installed PasteSup app. Turning on the app’s switch alone is not enough: system permission is also required.

Use the shortcut

Hold Shift and Command, then press V to open clipboard history. Keep Shift and Command held; press V to move down or Z to move up. Hold V or Z to keep moving, or scroll through the list. Click a record or release Shift and Command to paste it. An empty history shows an empty state and does not paste anything.

If permission is enabled but the shortcut does not work

Check that permission is granted to the currently installed PasteSup, not an old or test version. Confirm both the Quick Paste switch and Accessibility permission are enabled, then reopen the app. If you changed the app’s location or version, check its entry in System Settings. Some target apps or protected input fields may restrict pasting.

History and files

History stays on your Mac. Search, filter by type, preview and copy records again. File records store references; moving or deleting the original file or changing access permissions may make them unavailable. If a copy is missing, check whether recording was paused, limits were exceeded or the source app marked it as excluded.

Languages, appearance and requirements

Choose English, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese, or follow the system language. Appearance supports light, dark and system modes. Requires macOS 14 or later.
